Francesco Cantini nasce a Pisa nel settembre del 1991 dove consegue il diploma di maturità artistica presso l'Istituto Statale d'Arte F. Russoli. Nel 2016 si laurea con lode in Design alla Libera Accademia di Belle Arti col prof. Stefano Follesa. Dopo una breve esperienza lavorativa all’estero presso lo studio Harrison Design fa ritorno in Italia dove lavora per un periodo con l’azienda Mantellassi 1926. Nel 2018 consegue il titolo di Laurea Magistrale in design con 110 e Lode presentando una tesi sui materiali sperimentali. Vincitore di alcuni concorsi di progettazione come "Riva 1920 Design contest", “Lettere a Ponti” e “Un Goto per Venezia” vanta l’esposizione di un prodotto al Museo del Vetro di Murano .
Vive e a Firenze, dove lavora al Laboratorio di Design per la Sostenibilità.
Francesco Cantini was born in Pisa in September 1991, where he obtained the diploma of artistic maturity at the Istituto Statale d'Arte F. Russoli. In 2016 he graduated with honors in Design at the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti with prof. Stefano Follesa. After a short work experience abroad at the Harrison Design studio, he returned in Italy where he worked for a period with the company Mantellassi 1926. In 2018 he obtained the title of Master's Degree in Design with honors presenting a thesis on experimental materials. Winner of some design competitions such as "Riva 1920 Design Contest", "Lettere a Ponti" and "Un Goto per Venezia" boasts the exhibition of a product at the Murano Glass Museum. Actually he lives in Florence, where he works at the Design for Sustainability Laboratory.
